Running hats and caps are more than just a fashion statement, especially when the cold wind is whipping your head or the sun is beating down on your face.

Let's take a look at cold temperature running hats as well as warmer weather styles such as mesh running hats. I've included men's running hats and women's.

Cold Weather
Here's a list of criteria you should base your buying decision on:

- integrated fleece
- ear flaps
- water/wind resistant coating
- fleece lining
- drawstring in back for fitting

Warm Weather

- mesh vents
- moisture wicking inner headband
